Jos Buttler is about to miss Rajasthan Royals’ tournament opener against Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday (September 22) being in quarantine together with his family in Dubai.

England and Australia players travelled from one bubble to a different after theirlimited-overs series within the UK, with the BCCI reducing the quarantine period to 36 hours for the players.

However, Buttler, who missed the series due to family commitments, are going to be subjected to six-day mandatory quarantine as long as he travelled separately together with his family to Dubai.

Buttler confirmed an equivalent on Sunday (September 20) via an Instagram Live session on the Royals’ page.

“I’m unfortunately getting to miss the primary match for Rajasthan because I’m getting to be doing my quarantine period because I’m here with my family – which is great that the Royals have allowed me to possess my family out here. It’ll be an enormous help in lockdown having my family here with me.”

While the Royals captain Steve Smith posted an image on his page with the young opening batsman in their set-up, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Buttler said he was excited to satisfy the youngster who turned heads within the Under-19 World Cup earlier within the year.

“I haven’t met him yet but i’m excited that he has joined the Royals. He has been doing brilliantly well for India U-19, he’s such an enormous talent. I’m looking forward to meeting him and watch him bat. It’s always going to see young Indian talents unearth within the IPL. I’m glad that he’s on the Royals side,” Buttler said.

Buttler like many others had missed watching MS Dhoni in action, whoreturned to competitive cricket after 437 days when CSK took on Mumbai Indians within the tournament opener, ending a five-match streak against their arch rivals.

“I am an enormous MS Dhoni fan. Great to ascertain him back. Also, Sanju Samson, i’m an enormous fan of his batting. He has been within the IPL for an extended time. He makes the sport look easy when he’s in form. anticipate to watching him score lot of runs for Rajasthan Royals,” he said.
